Kimbrough Named AVP For USAA Real Estate Company

September 26th, 2005 - San Antonio TX

Ken Kimbrough has been selected as a senior officer of the public sector development team for USAA Real Estate Company. He will be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, implementing, and managing General Services Administration ("GSA") and public sector development opportunities for USAA Real Estate Company and its development partners. Ken will be based in the company's Arlington, VA office.

Most recently Ken was employed by Carnegie Mellon University as assistant vice president of facilities management services where he was responsible for managing construction and the operations of its 4 million square foot campus in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition, Ken was the National Commissioner for the Public Building Service at the GSA, which was a White House appointment under the Clinton administration. Ken also served as the Director of the Office of Property Management for the District of Columbia.

Ken is a native of Oklahoma City, OK, and has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a master's of business administration degree in finance from the University of Rochester.
